The Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) is a political union dedicated to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics and national unity.It is also a socialist participatory party with Chinese characteristics in the system of multiparty cooperation and political consultation led by the Communist Party of China (CPC).

By 2020,the RCCK has had 30 provincial-level organizations,275 prefecture-level organizations and 151thousand party members.Successive chairmen of the RCCK cire Li jishen,He Xiangning,Zhu Yunshan,Wang Kunlun,Qu Wu,Zhu Xuefan,Li Peiyao,He Luli and Zhou Tienong.The present chairman is Wan Exiang.

On January 1,1948,the RCCK was founded in Hong Kong by democrats in the Chinese Kuomintang along with other patriotic personages.During the New Democratic Revolution (1919-1949),by fighting together with the CPC,the RCCK made important contributions on overturn the reactionary ruling of imperialism,feudalism and bureaucrat capitalism,and to found the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Since the founding of the PRC,the RCCK,as a member party of leading the CPC's multiparty cooperation system,has taken part in the work of Chinese people's political power and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC),and has played a positive role in consolidating people's democratic dictatorship,developing the patriotic united front of the Chinese people,completing socialist transformation and promoting the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Since the 3rd Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,in 1978,the RCCK has met to the requirements of a socialist construction in the new era,given full play to its characteristics and advantages,and has actively fulfilled its duty to participate in the deliberation and administration of state affairs,democratic supervision,and political consultation led by the CPC,and has made new contributions to promoting reform,opening-up and socialist modernization,building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects,promoting social harmony,strengthening cross-Strait communication,and driving forward peaceful national unity.

The RCCK convened its 13th national congress in December,2017.Guided by the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,the congress comprehensively reviewed its achievements and experiences over the past 5 years and made clear its guiding ideology and priorities in the period to come.The congress also elected new central leadership and approved an amendment to the RCCK Constitution.The congress called on all the party members rally closer around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core,hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics,take the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as a guidance,comprehensively implement the spirits of the 19th CPC National Congress and the 13th national congress of the RCCK,inherit and carry forward Sun Yat-sen’s patriotic thoughts as well as a revolutionary and progressive spirit,remain true to its original aspiration,and build dreams in the great time,and keep fighting for determining victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects,striving for the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era,realizy the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation,and people's yearning for a better life.
